Miller, 71, of Rockwood RD 3, died March 6, 1995 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 9, 1923, in Somerset, son of the late Lewis and Maude (Meyers) Miller. Preceded in death by infant brother, Robert. Survived by wife of 43 years, the former Leana Brugh, daughter, Mrs. Scott Joanna Miller-Ash of Rockwood RD 3, and grandson, Alexander. Brother of William M. Miller, Mrs. Steven Mary Elizabeth Svonavec, and Mrs. Ray Helen Hay all of Somerset RD 7; also survived by aunt, Emma Grace Miller of Roanoke, Va. Retired Locomotive Engineer for B & O Railroad. Member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, veteran of the U.S. Navy in WWII. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, pastor John Palko, and Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
