He was born in Accident, and was a son of the late Samuel Miller and Anna (Wilhelm) Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie (Warnick) Miller. He was retired from State Roads and a member of the Bear Creek Church of the Brethren and a deacon of the church. He is survived by two sons, Francis L. Miller and Harry E. Miller, both of Accident; three daughters, Mrs. Marian Austin, Plant City, Fla., Mrs. Marie Miller, Lonaconing, Md.; Mrs. Margaret Beitzel, Grantsville, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Hileman, Youngstown, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The Newman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements Services were conducted at Bear Creek Church of the Brethren by the Rev. William Shimer. Interment will be in the Bear Creek Church cemetery.
