  MARGARET MILLER
  
    Margaret Edith Miller, 85, of Grant Street, Grantsville, Md., died
  Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1994 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
    Born July 11, 1908 at Avilton, she was a daughter of the late
  Richard Layman and Dessie (Miller) Layman.  She was preceded in death
  by her husband, William F. Miller.
    She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marilyn
  Miller; a granddaughter, Linda Blocher; and a son-in-law, William
  Blocher.
    She was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul's United Methodist
  Church, Grantsville; a member of Grantsville Senior Citizens, and the
  Grantsville Fire Department Auxiliary.
    She is survived by two daughters: Patsy Blocher and Gloria
  Hitchins, both of Grantsville; for grandchildren and six
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on
  Thursday.  Services were conducted there Friday with the Rev. Tim
  Allen officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
