Miller, (USAF-Ret.), 48, Smyrna, Del., formerly of Hyndman, was dead on arrival Jan. 4, 1985 at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Md. Born in Pittsburgh July 12, 1936 he was a son of the late Maylan M. Miller and Belvia (Davis) Miller. He was retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service, including service in Vietnam. He is survived by his widow, the former Maryland Elvis, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one son, Michael M. Miller, serving on Okinawa with the Marine Corps; one daughter, Michelle M. Miller, Myrtle Beach; four brothers: Melford M. Miller and Mervin M. Miller, both of Baltimore, Md.; Malvern M. Miller, Evansville, Ind.; Merle M. Miller, Cumberland, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Wavie O. Bloomquist, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Bricy O. Albright, Hyndman; Mrs. Emma V. Beals, Hyndman RD 1; Mrs. Sarah A. Steel, Cresaptown, Md. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services were conducted by Pastor Samuel J. Yoder. Interment, Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery. Military honors by Oscar Jordan Post 7375, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Fort Bedford Honor Guard were accorded. The Republic, January 17, 1985 [M1831]
