Miller, 81, Springs, died Monday, Aug. 02, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare, Meyersdale. Born August 18, 1922, in Thomas, Okla., a daughter of the late Solomon and Anna (Troyer) Yoder. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Miller, one son, Harvey Miller and one daughter, Anna Orendorf. She is survived by one son, Joseph Miller and wife, Joyce, Accident, Md.; four daughters, Edith Yoder and husband, Jim, Grantsville, Md.; Mabel Pugh, Mansfield, Ohio; Katie Beitzel and husband, Byard, Accident, Md.; and Maryetta Kauffman and husband, Robert, New Holland; three brothers, Fred Yoder, Chesapeake, Va; Joe Yoder, Harrisonburg, Va.; and Jerry Yoder, Dublin, Ga.; three sisters, Gertrude Yoder, Warren, Ohio; Grace Resh, Grantsville, Md., and Mabel Beiler, Salisbury; 22 grandchildren, two stepgrandsons, 34 great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was a retired cook at The Casselman Restaurant, Grantsville, Md., and a member of Bittinger Mennonite Church. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. A service will be conducted on 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bittinger Mennonite Church. The Rev. Leonard Orendorf and the Rev. Keith Yoder officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to "In Touch" Hospice.
