"Ken" Miller, 73, of Salisbury died July 2, 2001 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born April 5, 1928 in Springs, he was a son of Aaron G. and Alta H. (Yoder) Miller and was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Miller. Survived by sister-in-law, Betty Miller, Springs; two nieces, Kathy Miller, Stuarts Draft, Va.; Brenda Lichty and husband, Rod, Salisbury; a nephew, Greg Miller and wife, Kim, Springs; one great-niece and three great-nephews: Kristin and Daniel Lichty, Ryan and Michael Miller; special buddy, Brent Barron; special friend, Dixie M. Otto, Salisbury and her family, Doug Otto, wife Lori and children: Chris, Lindsey, Salisbury; and Deb Barron and husband, Craig, Friedens. Member of Spring Mennonite Church; Tub Mill Arts; Somerset County Carvers Association; 29-year member of Greater Uniontown Barbershop Chorus; Dutch Treat Quartet; Chord-iah Four Quartet and Board of Directors of Citizens' National Bank, Meyersdale. Retired office manager for Miller Machine Works and Transmission and Bearings. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Home, Inc. 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Earl Yoder and the Rev. James Burkholder officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
