    Merle E. Miller, 82, Johnstown died Sept. 17, 1994 at Allegheny
  Lutheran Home, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 20, 1912 in Somerset, son of
  Curtis B. and Elizabeth (Bittner) Miller.  Preceded in death by
  parents; one sister and three brothers.  Survived by wife, former
  Mildred Spangler and son, Merle E. Jr., married to former Carole
  Szewczwk, Yardley, Pa.,; also two grandchildren, Brian and Gregory. 
  Brother of Ethel Williams, Somerset.  Member of First Presbyterian
  Church, Westmont.  Retired from Sani-Dairy.  Death breaks marriage
  union of 56 years.  No viewing or receiving of friends at request of
  deceased.  Graveside service at 11 a.m. today (Monday) at Grandview
  Cemetery, the Rev. Thomas J. Parlette.  Arrangements by George E.
  Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville.
