Miller, 91, of Somerset passed away April 27, 2000 at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 15, 1908 in Somerset. Son of Abraham and Cora (Reiman) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; wife Ida (Knepper) Miller; second wife, Mable (Schrock) Miller and brothers, Lloyd, Harry, Galen, Elmer and Morris Miller. Survived by these children: Alice, married to Clarence Deitz, Berlin; Harold Miller, married to Elva, Somerset; Glenn Miller, married to Carol, Somerset; Jeanie, married to Tom Zarnick, Butler; Janet married to Martin Williamson of Berlin, N.J.; Dorothy, married to Jay Fisher, Somerset; Kenneth Miller, married to Beverly, Somerset; Eileen, married to Dale Miller, Fairhope; Barbara, married to Michael Donovan of McClure; and Marlin Miller of Hamilton, Va. Also step children, Charles Schrock of Binghamton, N.Y.; Miriam Coughenour of Earlyville, Va.; Harold Schrock of Charlottesville, Va.; and Sandra Zentkovich of The Plains, Va. Also 31 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; and two step-great-great grandchildren. He was a retired dairy farmer in Jefferson Township and former school board member of Somerset Area Schools. Lifetime member of Pike Run Church of the Brethren where he also served as deacon. Friends will be received 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pike Run Church of the Brethren, Rev. Barry Conn officiating.
