Miller, 64, of Philadelphia, a native of Greenville Township, Somerset County, died Friday, April 8, of injuries received in an accident while at work. He had been employed in a steel mill for the past 10 years. The injured man was rushed to a Philadelphia hospital, but was pronounced dead when examined there. Mr. Miller was born Sept. 8, 1884, the son of the late Jacob J. and Catherine (Bawr) Miller of Greenville Township. He was a graduate of Gettysburg College. He was twice married. His first wife was Agnes Spence Miller, who died in January 1928. He is survived by his second wife, Rosa, and the following children of his first marriage: Jean, Edward D., and Beverley Miller, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Ruth Orrison, Louisville, Ky., and three grandsons. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters: Harvey Miller, W. W. Miller and Mrs. Sara Paul, Meyersdale RD 3, and Mrs. Minerva Hostetler, Ames, Iowa. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 13, in the Greiss Funeral Home, Philadelphia, with the Rev. William H. C. Lauer officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ralph I. Shockey. Burial was made in the Hulmeville Cemetery at Langhorne, Pa. Among relatives attending the funeral were Harvey Miller, W. W. Miller, George Miller, Mrs. Howard Shultz, Mr. and Mrs. George Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Carl F. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Miller Jr., Mrs. Mildred Dietle, Mrs. Homer Schrock, Mrs. Gladys Hillegas, Elbert E. Miller, Meyersdale; Mrs. Guy Swartzwelder, Salisbury, and Mrs. Vaughn Williams, Everett.
