Miller, 56, of Boswell RD 1, was dead on arrival July 29, 1974 at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 5, 1918 in Hollsopple, a son of Aaron and Fannie Eash Miller. Preceded in death by parents and two half-sisters, Mrs. Lottie Hillhouse and Mrs. Mamie Miller. Survived by widow, the former Catherine Blum and these children: Robert A. of Laurel, Md.; Mrs. Vivian L. Ream of Somerset; Mrs. Carleen Miller of Boswell and six grandchildren. Was a brother of Mrs. Millie Folckemer and Mrs. Carrie Thomas, both of Johnstown; Albert of Tire Hill and Harry of Hollsopple RD 2; a half-sister, Mrs. Dora Spory of Hollsopple RD 2 and a half-brother, John Blough of Texas. A member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown and the Johnstown Hammond Organ Society. Was a retired employee of Johnstown plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp and a veteran of World War II. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Jesse Wolf officiating. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
