Miller, 84, 103 Country View Lane, Salisbury, died May 30, 1998 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born Feb. 20 1914 in Elk Lick Township, daughter of the late William and Annie (Engle) Harding. Also preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. "Bud" Miller on Oct. 19, 1970; 2 brothers and 2 sisters: Samuel, Edgar, Louise and Charlotte. Survived by a son, Ralph E. Miller, Falls Church, Va.; 3 daughters: Mildred Arlen Roy, Conway, S.C.; Alta M. Lowry and Mary Alice Wilt, both of Salisbury; 2 foster children: Linda Duncan, Ridgeley, W.Va.; and Richard Klink, Salisbury; her twin sister, Mildred Shoemaker, Salisbury; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ and a retired cook for the former Maple Village Restaurant, Meyersdale. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., Salisbury. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Interment, St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's Church Memorial Fund, Box 33, Salisbury, Pa. 15558.
