Miller, 83, of Easy Living Estates, Somerset, formerly of Somerset RD 6, died May 31, 1988 at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 30, 1905 in Jefferson Township. Sons of the late Abraham A. and Cora Mae (Reiman) Miller. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Pauline Shank, and brother, Harry. Survived by second wife, the former Frances Engle, four daughters: Mrs. Howard (Betty) Harman; Mrs. Ray (Nancy) Phillippi, both of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Robert (Lois) Coddington, Somerset RD 6; and Mrs. Charles (Linda) Thomas Jr., Garrett RD 1; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Also two step daughters, Mrs. Keith (Dorothy) Dumbauld, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Leroy (Mary Ann) Miller, Hermitage Pa.; four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; and four brothers: Lloyd and Elmer, both of Somerset RD 4; Galen, Berlin RD 3; and Milton, Somerset RD 2. During his lifetime he was a sawmiller, a painter, and involved in general trucking. Retired from the Pa. Turnpike Commission in 1968. Member of the Retired Men's Chorus; the Sweet Sixties; the Somerset Area Senior Citizens; and the Pike Run Church of the Brethren, where he was a lifetime deacon. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Horace Derr and the Rev.
