Born Nov. 7, 1912 in Milford Township. Son of the late Jacob and Mary (King) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; sisters: Missouri Walker and Sarah Flick; brothers, William, Ross, Russell and Walter Miller; three infant siblings and son-in-law, Jerry Skeria. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth (Metzler) Miller; children: Jean Skeria of Friedens; Beverly, married to Daniel Specht of Somerset; Lane married to Louise (Karmanocky) Miller of Fuquay Varina, N.C. and Lynn, married to Denise (Brugh) Miller of Somerset; grandchildren: Michael Skeria and Marshall, Miles, Sarah, Jacob and Samuel Miller; step great granddaughter, Ahleia Thomas and step great-great granddaughter, Victoria Yutzy. He was a retired farmer in Milford Township. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville where he was a choir member. He also sang in the Miller Quartet and the Roof Garden Barbershop Group. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Rev. Robert Hoover officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
