Miller, 59, of Jones Mills, Pa., died Sept. 15, 1974 in the Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 22, 1915 at Indian Head, Pa., the son of Ada (Henry) Miller and the late Martin Miller. He lived in Jones Mills since 1945. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School in 1934. Employed by DeVilbiss Company in Somerset for 23 years and was a veteran of World War II. Member of County Line Church of the Brethren where he was a trustee and a member of the Stewardship and Finance Committee and the Willing Workers Sunday school class. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Evelyn (Hostetler) Miller; one son, Martin L., of Champion, Pa.; three sisters: Mrs. Ewing (Hazel) Crossland of Uniontown; Mrs. H. R. (Evelyn) Weaver of Memphis, Tenn.; and Mrs. Paul (Rebecca) Bittner of Detroit, Mich. Friends are being received at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and in the County Line Church of the Brethren from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at which time the service will be held.
