  MILLER
  
    Philip S. Miller, 81, of Somerset RD 1, died Mar. 22, 1980, in
  Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 17, 1898,
  Somerset County, son of the late Lewis and Malinda (Saylor) Miller. 
  Preceded in death by his first wife, Nora Pritts.  Survived by his
  widow, Elma Day Shaffer; and these step-children: Melvin Shaffer,
  Kintnersville, Pa.; Geraldine, wife of Alfonso Gioia, Houston, Texas;
  and four grandchildren.  Brother of Roseanne, wife of Elmer Miller,
  Somerset.  Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, he was a
  retired dairy farmer.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday
  at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted
  Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Roger Forry.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
