    R. Wayne Miller, 66, Somerset, died June 6, 1998 at Conemaugh
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Nov. 6, 1931, in
  Quemahoning Township.  Preceded in death by parents, William T. and
  Ada Pearl (Miller) Miller; first wife, the former Dorothy Maxine
  Philippi, who died in 1979; sister, Betty Jane Hamilton and 7
  brothers: Vernon, Virgil, Kenneth, Stewart and Clinton Miller and 3
  infant brothers.  Survived by wife, the former Gloria Dean Davis, to
  whom he was married 17 years; children, Randy L. Miller, married to
  the former Mary Creech of North Augusta, S.C., and Thomas W. Miller,
  married to the former, Ann Chonko of Fairhope; 3 grandchildren:
  Jeremy, Cody and Danielle Miller.  Brother of Raymond O. Miller of
  Somerset; Mrs. Otis (Bernice Mae) Sterner of Rockwood; Mrs. Alvin
  (Verda) Laughlin of Romulus, MI.  A 1952 graduate of Somerset High
  School.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and PA
  Home Builders Association.  Retired from Mayfair Creamery with 29
  years service, and had worked for the former Brants Farm and Garden
  Center of Somerset.  He had owned and operated Wayne's Wooden Designs
  of Somerset.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9
  Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services
  will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Glen E. Sadler
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
