Miller, 90, of Buffalo Mills RD 1 died Sept. 10, 1996, at his residence. Born Nov. 28, 1905, at Buffalo Mills RD 1, he was a son of the late Harry A. and Bertha (Smith) Miller. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Miller and Emma Smith; also a brother, Lee Miller. He is survived by two brothers: Ray Miller, Hyndman, and Merle Miller, Berlin; a sister, Helen Miller, Buffalo Mills RD 1, and several nieces and nephews, including Donna and Jerry Smith, Buffalo Mills RD 1, who were his care givers. Mr. Miller was a lifelong farmer and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Harvey Z. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Gregory Sinclair officiating. Interment, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Daily American, Sept 11, 1996 [M1886]
