  MILLER
   
    Robert E. Miller, 64, Hooversville RD 1, died Nov. 16, 1984, at
  Windber Hospice. Born Jan. 24, 1920, in Quemahoning Township, son of
  Leamon D. and Kate (Horner) Miller. Preceded in death by parents and
  brother, Lloyd. Survived by wife, former Rose Stern, whom he married
  Oct. 6, 1938; son Robert Dean, married to former Joyce Gindlesperger,
  Hooversville RD 1; daughter, Mrs. Carter (Jone) Lehman, Stoystown RD
  2; also six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of
  Mrs. Gladys Eash, Harold, and Donald, all of Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Roy
  (Vietta) Weaver, Stoystown; Mrs. Orion (Annabelle) Gindlesperger,
  Hollsopple RD 1; and Roy, Hooversville RD 1. Retired self-employed
  contractor. Designed and built own solar home in last three years.
  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church, Stoystown Lions Club,
  Forbes Senior Citizens, and National Association of Home Builders.
  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Remains will be
  removed to Kantner United Methodist Church to lie in state from 10
  a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. J. Wesley
  Spahn, assisted by the Rev. Allen Hollsopple and the Rev. David
  McGee. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. If friends desire,
  instead of flowers, contributions may be given to Windber Hospice
  Palliative Unit.
