Miller, 80, Garrett, died May 29, 2005, at his home. Born Dec. 6, 1924, in Meyersdale, a son of the late Frank E. and Thelma (Snyder) Miller. Survived by his widow, Mary Alice (Hostetler) Miller; two daughters, Linda, wife of Robert Gillespie, Moneta, Va. and Shirley, wife of William Defibaugh, Derwood, Md. Also survived by four grandchildren, Brian and Justin Gillespie and David and Michael Defibaugh; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Rachel Gillespie and two sisters, Lorraine Ickes and Thelma Louise Dorsey, both of Street, Md. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale. A veteran of World War II and a member of Meyersdale VFW. He was a retired coal driller. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. William Triebe officiating. Born December 6, 1924, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Frank E. and Thelma (Snyder) Miller.
