    Ruth N. Miller, 90, Milford Township, passed on Aug. 21, 2007, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Jan. 23, 1917, in Somerset Township, she is the daughter of the late Frank and
  Carrie (Weller) Metzler. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Orlen Miller in
  2002, and sister, Mary Swank. She is survived by her children, Jean Skeria, widow of
  Jerry Skeria, Friedens; Beverly Specht and husband, Daniel, Somerset; Lane Miller and
  wife, Louise (Karmanocky), Fuquay Varina, N.C.; and Lynn Miller and wife, Denise (Brugh),
  Somerset; grandchildren, Michael Skeria and wife, Della; and Marshall, Miles, Sarah, Jacob
  and Samuel Miller; great-granddaughter, Ahleia Yutzy and husband, Matthew;
  great-great-grand- children, Viktoria and Nikolas Yutzy; and sister, Ruby Walters of
  Somerset. She and her husband, Orlen were longtime farmers in Milford Township. She had a
  great love for her church fam- ily at Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville, of which
  she was a member and who also participated in the Willing Workers Class. She was an avid
  quilter and gardener, and loved to spend time with her family. Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held 11
  a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church with one hour visita- tion prior to the service.
