Miss Miller had not been well all winter, especially during the holiday season, but in her indomitable way she carried on until fatally stricken. She was an outstanding business woman. She was a most efficient clerk in the J. B. Davis Store in Ursina for a long period and for a number of years worked in the office of the Millard Scholl Lumber Company in West Newton. She returned to her old home and started her own business, calling it "Miller's Old Inne," in which she was very successful, giving it every effort of her vast ability. She was "Aunt Mint" to a host of nieces and nephews and to the whole community. The many beautiful floral tributes at her funeral testified to the regard in which she was held. Her whole life was spent doing for others. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Albright of Camden, N.J., and Mrs. Elizabeth Critchfield at home. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at her late home, Rev. James Shannon, pastor of the Lutheran church, conducting the services. Interment was in the Ursina Cemetery near her father and mother, to whom she had been most devoted. Charles Humbert was funeral director. Meyersdale Republican, February 6, 1941
