Born Feb. 15, 1915, at Clymer, he was a son of Robert and Mabel (Moore) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Esther Trivarrow; son, Kirk; brother, Francis; and sister, Sara Burkett. Survived by his wife, the former Margaret Spangler; three sons: Lanny, Listie; Edward A., Boulder, Colo.; J. Barry, Central City RD 1; and these grandchildren: Susan and Veronica, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Elaine, Loveland, Colo.; Michael and James both of Central City RD 1. He was a brother of Jesse Moore, Malvern, and Lillian Stein, Haverton. He was a member of Central City United Methodist Church, a retired coal miner and a textile worker. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 9 p.m. Tuesday, after viewing, with the Rev. Marlin. A.
