    Thelma Elizabeth Miller, 89, Star Route Springs, died Dec. 12,
  1995, at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.  Born Dec. 26, 1905, at West
  Salisbury, daughter of late Joseph H. and Jennie F. (Russell)
  Wagner.  Also preceded in death by husband, Leonard L. Miller, Jan.
  1, 1979; son, Don R. Miller, May 6, 1989, and a sister, Leona Wagner,
  April 16, 1993.  Survived by daughter-in-law, Janet (Hillegas) Miller,
  Frederick, Md.; grandson, John K. Miller, Frederick; granddaughter,
  Lori Abraham and husband, Todd, Pittsburgh; a great-grandson, Alex
  Abraham, and two sisters: Mildred Blocher, Salisbury, and Dorothy
  Jeffrey, West Salisbury.  Member of Somerset County Farm Women and
  Springs Historical Society.  Oldest living member of St. John's
  United Church of Christ, Salisbury.  Friends will be received from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc.,
  Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, with
  the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. 
  Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's United Church
