ULYSSES MILLER

  Ulysses G. Miller, 74, Meyersdale R.D. 3, died Thursday, July 29, at his home 
after an illness of three months.  He was born in Somerset County, September 10, 
1873, a son of Jesse and Rachel Beal Miller.  His wife, the former Elizabeth 
Hersch, died in 1946.
  The following children survive: Harry and Margaret Beal, both of Meyersdale; 
Mrs. Irene Phennicie, Mrs. Albert Krause and Guy Miller, all of Johnstown; 
Clarence Miller of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Jacob Welfley of Salisbury, and James Miller 
at home; two brothers - Frank Miller of Meyersdale, and Harry Miller of 
Pittsburgh; two sisters - Mrs. John F. Albright and Mrs. Estelle Lint, both of 
Meyersdale.  The deceased was a member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.
  Funeral services were held Monday at the home at 2 p.m., with the Rev. S. 
Loren Bowman officiating.  Burial was made in the Union Cemetery.
