"Mutt" Miller, 86, of Rockwood RD 2, died Sept. 28, 1981, at the Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1894, in Milford Township, a son of the late Israel G. and Cora (Barron) Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola; one son, Israel; and step-mother, Nina Will Miller. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Irvin (Mardelle) Wolf Jr. of Indiana, Pa.; Mrs. Billy (Delores) Livengood of Rockwood RD 2; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was a retired PennDOT district foreman. Charter member of New Centerville and Rural Volunteer Fire Department; associate member of Rockwood Rotary Club; member of Middlecreek Church of the Brethren; a participant at the Farmers' and Threshermen's Jubilee at New Centerville, where he operated the dog churn, and at the county fair with his ponies. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren, the Rev. William N. Hay officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
