  Viola I. Miller, 78, of Shanksville, died May 8, 1987, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Oct. 8, 1908, in Stonycreek
  Township, daughter of the late Milton J. and Elizabeth M. (Brant)
  Baughman.  Preceded in death by husband Richard A. and sister
  Elnora.  Survived by son, Jay A., married to Marie Boyer, Berlin RD
  3; daughter, Mrs. John (Rachel) Lauer Sr., of Friedens RD 2;
  stepsons: Charles Miller of Shanksville and Clyde Miller of Friedens
  RD 2; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; also numerous
  step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and
  great-great-grandchildren.  A sister of: Mrs. Ethel Walker of Central
  City RD 1; Edison of Berlin; Mrs. Earl (Lulu) Mayo of Brunswick, Ga. 
  Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville.  Family will receive
  friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday,
  the Rev. Gene J. Abel officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery,
  Shanksville.
