She was born in Preston County, W.Va., September 13, 1868, and died at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 12 days, of a complication of diseases. Those who are left to mourn her passing are her husband, Joseph H. Miller, and the following children: Hubert E., Leonard L., Lloyd J., Mrs. Mary C. Jefferys, all of Salisbury, and Sherman R. of Ravenna, Ohio. Thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, John Wilburn of Jennings, Md., survive. Two children, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. She united with the Church of the Brethren at Maple Grove, Md., in 1893 and has been a faithful member ever since. Mrs. Miller left Preston County, W.Va., at the age of 8 years and came to live with her aunt, Mrs. John Durst, in Garrett County, Md. For the past forty-six years Mrs. Miller was a resident of Elk Lick Township. She was a daughter of John and Catherine Durst Wilburn. Mrs. Miller was a kind and devoted mother and leaves many friends to mourn her departure. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., at the Miller residence in West Salisbury, the pastor, Rev. A. J. Replogle, officiating, with interment in the odd Fellows Cemetery, Salisbury, under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas, mortician. Meyersdale Republican, March 27, 1941
