Born Sept. 16, 1916 in Connellsville, the son of the late Gabriel H. and Naomi (Sleasman) Miller. Survived by his wife, Wanna Mae (Harrison) Miller; a son, Robert Paul of Pittsburgh; and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Ainsley of Normalville; four grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Helen Ruth Miller of Champion. He was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren; a postmaster at Champion for the past 27 years; a member of the Masonic Lodge; a veteran of World War II; member of the National Association of Postmasters of which he was a past president and secretary; and a past commodore of the Mountain Boat Club. Friends are being received at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home on Rt. 711 at Melcroft from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be held. Additional services will follow at 2 p.m. in the County Line Church of the Brethren with the Reverends Dale Zimmerman and David Huey officiating. Interment, Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion.
