Born March 21, 1908 in Middlecreek Township, son of John Clark and Amanda G. (Cramer) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Rosemary Gary; four sisters Irene Miller, Fannie Kuhlman, Mary Henry and Barbara Leslie; and two brothers Jessie and Harry Miller. Survived by his former wife, Martha Louise (Berg) Miller-Seifert of Silver Springs, Md.; children Mrs. James D. (Shirley) Spory of Poolesville, Md.; and Ms. Susan M. Hurley of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandchildren Michael P. Reiman of San Jose, Calif., and Luke D. and Rachel L. Spory both of Silver Spring, Md. Brother of Daniel C. Miller of Rockwood, Mrs. Martha Lambert of Piketon, Ohio, Frank W. Miller of Rockwood and Benjamin W. Miller of Somerset. Member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church at Barronvale. Retired in 1974 with 22 years of service with Somerset Foundry; member of Shopmen's local 527 of Pittsburgh; member of the Appalachian Wagon Train Association. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John J. Palko officiating.
