Miller, 61, Long View Court, New Derry, died May 23, 1983, at home. Born Dec. 13, 1921, in Somerset, a son of the late Earl and Zelda (Miller) Miller. Survived by his wife, the former Letta Sipple, and the following children: Scott, Canonsburg; Harold, Ft. Knox, Ky.; and Gene, Barry, Michelle Seeber, and Charlene Rhymer, all of Manassas, Va.; also a brother, Floyd R., Somerset RD 1; and sister, Mrs. Thomas (Ida Mae) Sterner, Somerset; and seven grandchildren. He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Somerset; veteran of World War II, where he was member of the U.S. Marine Corps; past commander of American Legion Post 181, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Vandervort officiating.
