"Pike" Mills, 76, of 21 Middle St., Jenners, died Feb. 20, 1982, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 2, 1905, in Hawk Run, Pa., son of William and Minnie (McDowell) Mills. Preceded in death by parents; one infant son; one son, Verle W., who died July 8, 1974; two brothers: William and Regis; one sister, Gennieve; two half-brothers: John and Patrick Flynn; and two half-sisters: Margaret and Mary Ann. Survived by widow, the former Verna Wilson; son, Jerry, married to the former Sharon Borelle, Boswell RD 3; and six grandchildren. Brother of Elizabeth New, South Fork. Member of UMWA Local 1742, Jenners; and charter member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Retired employee of Bird Coal Company, Tire Hill. Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell; where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
