All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ CLARA PLATTER MIMNA Mrs. Clara Platter Mimna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Platter, died at her home near Meyersdale, Sept. 17, at the age of 47 years, having been born April 30, 1884. She was united in marriage to James Mimna who survives her. To this union 9 children were born, Mrs. Howard Pullin of Farmington, Pa.; Mrs. Troy Glass, of Addison, Mark Mimna, Youngstown, O., Hubert, Baltimore, James, Josephine, Mary June, Charles, and Paul, at home. She also leaves one brother and two sisters, Albert Myers and Mrs. Charles Green of Somerfield, and Mrs. David Green, of Sykesville, Md. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church of Addison, of which she was a member, by Rev. George O. Ritter of Confluence, and burial was made in the new addition of the Addison Cemetery. Mrs. Mimna was a woman of sterling qualities of heart and soul and was loved by all who knew her. The church was packed to its utmost. Meyersdale Republican, September 24, 1931
