  MINCEK
  
    John J. Mincek, 81, of Hooversville, died June 23, 1994 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 17 1912, in Wilson Creek.  Son of Ignatius and
  Julia (Augustyn) Mincek.  Preceded in death by his parents; wife, the
  former Rose Dolingo; daughter, JoAnn; brothers, Stanley, Frank, Joseph
  and Ignatius.  Survived by daughters:  Helen, married to Leon
  Stockwell, Glencoe RD 1; Patricia, married to Harold Walters, Berlin
  RD 4; Bernadette, married to Terry Shaffer and Rosemary, married to
  Danny Boone, both of Hooversville; 11 grandchildren and 10 great
  grandchildren.  He was a brother of Nellie Petrilla and Jacob Mincek,
  both of Hooversville; Mary Zalesky of Jenners; Walter Mincek, Detroit,
  Mich.; and Louis Mincek, Cleveland, Ohio.  A WWII Army Veteran and
  Purple Heart recipient.  Retired from PennDOT.   Member of Holy
  Family Catholic Church; VFW Post 7565 and Game Association, all of
  Hooversville; and Jenner Rod & Gun Club and UMWA.  Family will
  receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where wake service will be held at
  7:30 p.m. Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.
  Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Harold N. Biller
  officiating. Interment, Holy Family Cemetery.
