  ALBERT W. MINERD
  
    Albert Ward Minerd, 76, Mill Run RD 1, died July 1, 1972 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Sept. 2, 1895 in Mill Run.
    Surviving are three sons, Delbert, Rockwood RD 3; D. Dale,
  Pittsburgh; and Byron K. of Chalk Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Graydon
  Work of Mill Run and Mrs. Jack Cunningham of Rochester; also 11
  grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a brother, Otis F. of
  Stoystown.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada J. Minerd, Nov. 7, 1971.
    He was a retired electrician and attended the Mill Run United
  Methodist Church.
    Funeral service was held in Brooks Funeral Home, Connellsville
  Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Philip Horn officiating.  Interment in
  Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery.
