  MINERD
  
    Rebecca J. Minerd, 77, West Church Street, Somerset, died April 25,
  1980 in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born October 27, 1902 in
  Somerset County, a daughter of J.W. and Jennie (Hartzell)
  Burkholder.  Survived by these children: E. Raymond of Rome, Ga.; and
  Beatrice, wife of George W. Miller, Somerset; seven grandchildren;
  five great grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Burkholder,
  Connellsville; and Ralph Burkholder, West Mifflin.  Was a member of
  the Somerset Church of God.  Friends are being received in the Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday
  at 1:30 p.m. in the Somerset Church of God, the Rev. Dennis R.
  Buchanan and the Rev. David N. Lykens.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Body will lie in state in the church from 12:30 p.m.
  until the hour of service.
