  LAVURTA N. MINICK
  
    Mrs. Lavurta N. Minick, 75, died July 18, 1981 at her residence.
    Born in Garrett County, Md., Dec. 23, 1905 she was a daughter of
  the late Julius Minick and Mary Virginia (Blocher) Minick.  Her
  husband, Earl Minick, died in 1947.
    She is survived by three sons:  Anthony Minick and Theodore Minick,
  both of Meyersdale; Charles Minick, Connellsville; three daughters:
  Mrs. Gretiver Chipikitis, Meyersdale; Mrs. Violet Hare, Rockwood;
  Bertha Pyle, Cortland, Ohio; a brother, Herman Minick, Texas; a
  sister, Mrs. Myrtle Lease, of Cresaptown, Md.; 17 grandchildren and
  11 great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home by the
  Rev. Milton Morris and the Rev. Lloyd A. Trout.  Interment will be in
  Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Route 40 near Frostburg, Md.
