      Dorothy Jane (Ackerman) Minnick, 59 of Grove City, passed away May 20, 2008 at PNC
  Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
      She was born October 30, 1948 in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Stewart and Anna
  (Jordan) Ackerman. She was preceded in death by sister Mabel Gnagey and brother Wayne
  Ackerman, of Meyersdale and sister Alice Riley, Accident, MD.
      She is survived by her husband Charles Minnick, Grove City and sons: Jeff Minnick,
  New Jersey; and Doug and wife Evelyn Minnick, Texas and granddaughter Megan, Texas. Also
  survived by a brother, Harold Ackerman, Wickliffe, Ohio and a sister, Audrey Irwin,
  Meyersdale.
      Viewing was held at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Avenue, Grove City, PA,
  Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 12 to 1 p.m., with service following the 1 p.m.
