  MINNICK
  
    Paul E. Minnick, 73, of Confluence, died May 7, 2000 in Somerset
  Hospital.  He was born Aug. 21, 1926 in Breezewood, a son of the late
  Samuel and Annie (College) Minnick.  In addition to his parents, he
  was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Winck.  He is survived by
  his wife, Margaret (Bower) Minnick; son, Samuel, of  Confluence,;
  brothers, Grant of Cumberland, Md.; and Frank of West Middlesex; and
  sisters, Faye Thompson of Breezewood and Wanda Koontz of Bedford.  He
  was a member of the Confluence United Methodist Church; Somerset
  County Coin Club; Confluence Volunteer Fire Department and the board
  of directors of Yough Housing, Inc., of Confluence.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home in
  Confluence where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with
  Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating. Interment, Baptist Cemetery.
