Mintmier, 40, of Jerome Hill Road, Hollsopple Rd, died March 23, 1999 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh after fighting a courageous battle with leukemia. Born June 3, 1958 in Johnstown, son of Charles "Chiz" and Doris (Yoder) Mintmier. Survived by parents, Hollsopple RD; wife, the former Joyce Martin, whom he married June 14, 1980; son, David and daughter, Kelly, both at home; sister, Cindy; and paternal grandmother, Mary (Lehman) Mintmier; both of Thomas Mills. Also survived by mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Florence and Lester Martin; brother- in-law, Larry, married to Shelby Baldwin; nephew, Robert Martin; niece, Heather Martin, all of Johnstown; and numerous other relatives and friends. Member of Benscreek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Somerset Pike, Pittsburgh Local 5 IBEW; and Jerome Sportsmen. A 1976 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Also an electrical graduate of the four year apprenticeship program at Johnstown Vo-Tech. Employed by Church & Murdock Electric, Johnstown, for many years. Avid bowler, fisherman and hunter, having gotten during the past season an 8-point buck, a turkey and a bear, the triple crown of hunting. Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 at Church Road, Davidsville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. William E.
