MISHLER Charles Sylvester Mishler, 66, died at his home in Brothersvalley Township on Friday, January 4, at 3:50 p.m. He was a life-long resident of Somerset County and a diligent farmer. He was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah Shumaker Mishler and is survived by his wife, Ida Rebecca Mishler, and eleven children, namely: John, Irvin, and Paul, all at home; Samuel, Somerset; Mrs. Frank Brown, Sand Patch; Harry and Homer, Garrett; Mrs. Wm. Schrock, Berlin; Merle and Mrs. George Ohler, Meyersdale; Mrs. Charles Hoenshell, Johnsonburg, Pa.; also by a brother, John Mishler, of Cloverton, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Hartman, Glencoe; also by 24 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Jan. 8th, at 2:30 p.m., in the Glade City Church of God, near Meyersdale. Rev. Charles Raley of Jennerstown and Rev. Henry Shell of Glade City officiated. Interment in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin undertakers.
