    Arthur William "Bill" Mitchell, 82, Friedens, died Aug. 17, 2008, at UPMC Presbyterian,
  Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 23, 1925, in Somerset, the son of Ralph and Romilda (Hensel)
  Mitchell. Preceded in death by parents; and former wife, Marie. Survived by children,
  William Ralph (Carmen) Mitchell, Moon Township; Craig Allen (Carline) Mitchell, Berlin;
  David Lee (Cindy) Mitchell, Somerset; Tina Marie (Bob) Thomas, Boswell; grandchildren,
  Jenna, Danielle and Billy Mitchell, Corianne Buffy and Robby Thomas; and close friend,
  Pauline Davis, Somerset. A 1943 graduate of Somerset Township High School and a World War
  II Army veteran. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and United Insurance Co. A lifetime member
  of FOE, American Legion and VFW, all in Somerset. No viewing or service at request of the
  deceased. Interment, Friedens Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin.
