    Bertha E. (Hutzell) Mitchell, 80, Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly
  of Friedens RD (Coal Junction) died Feb. 14, 2001 at the manor.  Born
  June 23, 1920 in Sand Patch.  Preceded in death by husband of 50
  years John K. on Jan. 3, 1988, and son Rodger Lee.  Survived by these
  children Kaye F. married to James Countryman and Richard M. married to
  the former Ruth Ohler, both of Inman, S.C., John E. married to the
  former Louella Mills, Somerset RD, and Elaine L. married to Ray
  Smith, Jennerstown.  Nine grandchildren and nine
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle,
  Jennerstown.  Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
  at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service
  will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. C.J. Ickes and Rev. Gary Anderson
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
