  MITCHELL
  
  Catherine (Gephart) Mitchell, 88, Somerset RD 1, died July 15, 1986,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born April 12, 1898, in Black
  Township, daughter of the late John and Sarah (Nimiller) Gephart. 
  Preceded in death by her husband, James, Jan. 13, 1942; one daughter,
  Hilda Young; a son, Robert; and two brothers, Noah Gephart and Ephrium
  Gephart.  She is survived by these children:  Susan Weimer, Everett
  and Ernest, all of Rockwood RD 1; James, Berlin RD 4; Florence Kelly
  and George, both of Garrett RD 1; William, Somerset RD 1; Mary
  Steele, Somerset RD 2; Herman, Somerset RD 1; Gladys Wolk, Barton,
  Md.; Thelma Burock and Floyd, both of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; 43
  grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and two
  great-great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Pauline Renison,
  Mars, Pa.; and Blanche Hoffman, Lock Haven, Pa.  Former member of
  Blackfield Union Church.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service Friday 1:30 p.m. in the Milford United
  Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Krestar officiating. 
  Interment, Sanner Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church
  from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service.
