  MITCHELL
  
    Charles A. Mitchell, 85, of Somerset, died July 25, 1981, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 20, 1896, in Conemaugh, son
  of Charles M. and Elizabeth (Coy) Mitchell.  Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Elizabeth Webb; one brother, one sister and
  two grandsons.  Survived by these children: Kenneth L., Somerset:
  Harry J., Stoystown RD 1; Mrs. Oden (Kathern) Shumaker, Somerset,
  with whom he resided; Mrs. Irvin (Delores) Blough, Berlin RD 1; Mrs.
  Lavina Pearl Hersh, Somerset RD 6; 10 grandchildren and one
  great-grandson.  Brother of Mrs. Ethel Richardson, Conemaugh RD 1. 
  World War I Army Veteran.  Member Stoystown American Legion Post 257;
  and Veterans of World War I Pa. 3218.  Friends will be received from
  noon until services at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, the Rev. Leonard Day officiating.  Interment, Mt. Hope
  Cemetery, South Fork.
