  DOROTHY J. MITCHELL
  
    Dorothy J. Mitchell, 64, of Berlin died Sept. 25, 1983, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.   
    She was born May 23, 1919, in Meyersdale, the daughter of the late
  James C. and Amanda (Lenhart) Stahl.  Also preceded in death by one
  brother.    
    She is survived by her husband, James; and two daughters, Mrs.
  Doyle (Ruth) Mankamyer of Garrett and Mrs. Ken (Linda) Housel of
  Berlin; also three grandchildren.  She was a sister of: Mrs. Rosella
  Duckworth of Canton, Ohio, Ann Martin and Mildred Wechtenhiser, both
  of Berlin.
    She was a half-sister of Mary Mack of Medina, Ohio, Betty Wahl and
  Virginia Lyons of Somerset, Robert Stahl of Salisbury, and Oscar
  Swearman, of Mantua, N.J.  She was a member of Christian Missionary
  Alliance Church of Berlin.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. 
  Services were held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in
  Berlin, with the Rev. Donald Ansell officiating.  Interment, Ridge
  Cemetery.
