  MITCHELL
  
    Earl F. Mitchell, 55, of Lewisburg RD 2, Pa., formerly of
  Shanksville, died Jan. 10, 1988, at Geisinger Medical Center,
  Danville, Pa.  Born March 4, 1932, in McNeiltown, Pa.  Son of Raymond
  and Gladys (Gindlesperger) Mitchell, Berlin RD 3.  Preceded in death
  by an infant sister and an infant daughter.  Survived by parents, his
  wife, the former Betty Blough, whom he married July 2, 1951; also
  survived by these children: Ray W. married to the former Teena
  Walker, White Deer, Pa.; David W. married to the former Vivian
  Ferneyhough, Williamsport, Pa.; and Mrs. John (Beverly) Beachy,
  Mifflinburg, Pa.; 12 grandchildren.  Brother of: Nevin, married to
  the former Deloris Mosgrave, Berlin RD 1; and Mrs. Ralph (Gertrude)
  Smith, Mars, Pa.  1950 graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High
  School.  Employed by Yorktown Inc. of Mifflinberg, formerly
  Cooper-Jarret Trucking.  Member of Teamsters Union Local 764, of
  Milton.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, formerly the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral
  Home.  Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev.
  Ralph Souder officiating.  Interment will be at the Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
