  MITCHELL
  
    Ethel Mitchell, 92, Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, formerly of
  Markleton RD 1, died May 12, 1997, at the center.  Born July 14, 1904,
  in Connellsville, daughter of the late Clarence and Dora (Steyer)
  Nichols.  Preceded in death by husband, James H. Mitchell in 1971;
  brother, Martin Nichols, and sister, Dorothy Schroyer.  Survived by
  daughter, Mrs. George (Meriam) Bungard, Rockwood RD 3; grandchildren:
  Lonnie Bungard, Verna Kay Hochstein and Bonnie Nischalke; three
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Violet King, Somerset; and stepsister
  of Harold Ohler, Confluence.  Member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist
  Church in Scullton.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
  Thomas Zimmerman officiating.  Interment, Wesley Chapel Church
  Cemetery.
