  MITCHELL
  
    Herbert Glenn Mitchell, 73, of Somerset RD 8, died July 31, 1993,
  at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 25, 1920, in Upper
  Turkeyfoot Township.  Son of the late David Francis and Elizabeth
  Rebecca (King) Mitchell.  Also preceded in death by five brothers -
  James, Ernest, Harrison, Richard, and Ray Mitchell, and by four
  sisters - Jenny Cramer, Martha Reeves, Edna Reeves and Alta Reeves. 
  Survived by wife, the former Rebecca Fern Pugh.  Death ends a
  marriage union of 50 years.  Also survived by a brother, Frank D.
  Mitchell of Rockwood RD 3.  Retired from the Johnstown Works, U.S.
  Steel Corp., in 1982 with 24 years of service.  World War II Army
  veteran.  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, Laborers Local
  419 of Somerset, United Steel Workers Local 1288 of Johnstown, VFW
  Post 554, and American Legion Post 181.  Friends were received Sunday
  evening and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Tuesday, with Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
