  JOHN C. MITCHELL
  
    John C. Mitchell, 53, of Hartstown RD 1, Pa., died Dec. 7, 1995, at
  his home.
    Mitchell was born on May 16, 1942, in Berlin.
    He was the son of Charles E. and Ora Pearl (Kendall) Mitchell.
    In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister,
  Brenda Mitchell, and an infant son.
    In addition to his mother, Ora Nicholes of Tecumseh, Okla., he is
  survived by his wife, Laura L. Mitchell; the following children:
  Jackie L. Dumbra, Elise, Mich.; Mrs. Rick (Brenda) Croy, Harrisville,
  Pa.; Rebecca L. Mitchell, Hartstown, Pa.; David C. Mitchell,
  Espyville, Pa.; and Buck A. Mitchell, Hartstown; and three
  grandchildren.  He was the brother of Mrs. Alvin (Loretta) Meyers,
  Tecumseh; Robert W. Mitchell and James E. Mitchell, both of
  Garrettsville, Ohio.
    Mitchell owned and operated Mitchell Drywall Company, Hartstown,
  for 20 years, having retired because of an illness.  He attended
  Cross Roads Mission in Hartstown.
    A memorial service was held Dec. 9 at the Cross Roads Mission. 
  Pastor Hershberger officiated.  Arrangements were made by the Harold
  W. Coleman, Jr., Funeral Home of Linesville, Pa.
