  MITCHELL
  
    Kenneth Mitchell Sr., 85, of Takoma Park, Md., died July 15, 1993,
  at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park.  Born April 9, 1908,
  in Confluence, a son of the late John W. and Edith (Knight)
  Mitchell.  Survived by his wife the former Janet (Fortney) Mitchell,
  three sons: James of Silver Springs, Md.; Kenneth Jr. of Denver,
  Colo.; and Tom of Freeland, Md.; and two daughters: Patricia Mortimer
  of Hyattsville, Md. and Nancy Dorsett of Rockville, Md.; eleven
  grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.  Two brothers: Stanley
  Mitchell of Conneaut, Ohio; and James W. Mitchell of Ellenton, Fla.;
  and a sister, Nina Fike of Farmington.  A member of Hiram-Takoma
  Lodge No. 10 F. & A.M.  Friends will be received at the Humbert
  Funeral Home in Confluence on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m.  Graveside
  service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Addison Cemetery with
  Rev. Evert Millard officiating, interment to follow.  Meyersdale
  Lodge 554 F. & A.M. will conduct Masonic services 7:30 p.m. Monday at
  the funeral home.
